Off topic but more important to LGBT Nebraskans: Ben Gray’s Omaha LGBT rights ordinance WON’T MEAN A DAMN THING, even if passed, if Beau McCoy’s Unicameral bill, LB912, also passes, as it would nullify Omaha’s ordinance and any other ordinance in Nebraska which extended protection to LGBT citizens. The hearing for LB912 is Wednesday, February 22, 1:30 pm, Rm. 1113, State Capitol, Lincoln.
